Firefox 5 Now Available For Download

While the official announcement of Mozilla Firefox 5 Final release is still not made, as happened in the past the Firefox 5 Final release build is already available on official Mozilla FTP servers, open to public access. The official scheduled date for Firefox 5 launch is after two days on 21st June, but the download is now online so nobody is stopping us to enjoy it before release date.

Download Firefox 4 Before Official Release Tomorrow

Final build for Mozilla's major update of their web-browser Firefox 4 will officially get revealed on 22 March, but as expected the build had already made it's way to Mozilla's official FTP servers and can be downloaded right now.

For users with the older version of the web-browser, Firefox 4 brings in lots of new features, the most notable being a completely revamped new streamlined user interface, enhanced performance, support for newest open Web technologies, hardware acceleration, jet-powered JaegerMonkey JavaScript engine, built-in Sync, restartless add-ons, and Panorama workspace management.

Opera 11.10 Codenamed "Barracuda"

Opera 11.10Opera Team posted a teaser to the upcoming Opera Desktop Web-browser v 11.10 which is code-named "Barracuda", while no information regarding any expected feature of release dates were disclosed the Opera Team said that the first snapshot build of Barracuda will be made available in the near future, and take another popular Opera feature to the next level.

Download Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate

Microsoft has finally unveiled another major milestone to final release of Internet Explorer 9 by making IE9 Release Candidate download available for everybody. The "Release Candidate" build features a new ActiveX filtering system which allows users to “turn off ActiveX” for all sites and then re-enable it on site by site basis, on the UI part users can now have tabs on a separate line from address bar, apart from these changes many improvements were done in overall web-browser performance, standards & platform support, user experience and security as detailed next.

The IE9 Beta installer is now officially available for public download and can be grabbed from the direct download links provided below, the web-installer stub is just 2.37 MB in size which downloads the remaining setup files (roughly 24 mb on Windows 7 32bit) and surprisingly requires a system reboot to install (the only web-browser to do that).

PickBrowser - Handy Utility Lets Users Select Webbrowser Of Choice To Open External Links

If you have more than one web-browser installed on your computer at-times you might prefer a particular one to be used when launching an external link, and to cater to this situation we have nice little handy utility called "PickBrowser" - well adhering to it's name it lets users pick the browser they want to use when opening an external link. Once installed PickBrowser will be made your default-browser and all clicks to external links will launch PickBrowser window, from which you can select the browser of your choice to launch that link.
