Microsoft Windows 7 Build 7127 Leaked

Windows 7Just few days after official public release of Windows 7 Release Candidate a brand new build of Windows 7 having version-tag 7127.0.090507-1820 is now reported to be leaked and should be available for download on torrent portals soon, this is the second leak in the RTM branch and according to build tag was compiled on May 7, 2009.

It is strongly advised not to download and install any unverified builds as it may be tampered with and can contain malicious content posing a risk to your computer security.

The last line is correct "It is strongly advised not to download and install any unverified builds as it may be tampered with and can contain malicious content posing a risk to your computer security" because over 1 million computers were infected in only 1 hour by downloading through torrent portals or file hosting sites.
My advice: Sign up on Hotmail.com and download your fresh, virus free copy from microsoft.
Like previous time, microsoft is not limiting the download limit and the activation will be upto July,2010.

Don't be greedy to get the latest.Getting previous release(virus free) is better than a latest(virus) one.

What about the bug fixes and enhancement etc

Microsoft will push out any bug fixes (such as the recent SP2 for Microsoft Office 2007) and security updates NOW, EVEN FOR THE RC and BETAS using Windows Update. However, these updates are limited and few (such as MS Office updates and Windows security updates), as they don't want to patch something now only to change the underlying OS code later for Final Release.

Since installing the SP2 for Office 2007 on Windows 7 RC a couple days after RC release on 5/5/09, Microsoft Word has NOT crashed once when saving (used to happen several times a day when working on files).
