i have followed below procedure, still i m not able get throughthis problem, please help me out

Click Start > Run > Type ’C:\(Tally 7.2 directory name)\Tally72.EXE C:\(Tally Data path)[space]/
then press enter
for Eg: c:\tally7.2\tally72.exe c:\tally7.2\data /
after pressing enter tally will get open and at company info screen press Ctrl + Alt + R then select the corrupt company.

You can recover your data.
1stly copy your old data into some other drive and the follow the steps..

Go the the tally data file and delete all the .TSF extension files.

And then try restarting tally...
n overwrite the company.

It works like charm..

i am using tally 5.4 today suddenly the power cable was disconnected because of that my xp was correpted i installed a new xp. i couldn't open my tally old back up files please help me how can i upload my backup files to my tally 5.4

I am using tally 7.2 suddenly due to power failure the pc has been turn off, After restating I am run the Tally but the company in which I am working not shows in the list but when i check the tally data folder the company data has been there.

I try to recover it by user Ctrl + Altr + R, but received error as

When i am trying to see data for Jan 2010 , i am getting a msg internal error, memory access violation.. please contact tally solution.
I am able to retrieve data for dec 2009 and feb 2010. Problem is only in jan 2010 files.

I have the original version of Tally 5.4. But when I try to open the same it says "exlting tally - lock not found.

Sir,I am using tally 9.I have Open tally9 and I selected the company name.Then I pressed "ALT+D" for deleting the company,after pressing "ALT+D",it generates some error but I don't remember the error.After that it throws me out and Tally9 is closed.When I Opened the tally9 next time,there was no list of company.All my companies from DATA Folder of TALLY9 is deleted and I don't know what to do...Please help me,it's very urgent....Thanks In Advance
