dosnt work in win 7

The telnet works on my xp computer but my laptop with win 7 it doesn't work, this sucks.

it does open the start button search Windows Features look for Turn on or off windows features Scroll down, and enable Both boxes that say telnet on them, Type this in and tuh duh Star wars is activated

For windows Vista
Before open cmd, go to Control panel - program and features. Now off to the right of the windows there is a link "turn windows features on or off". Click on that. Scroll down till you find "telnet client" box. Check it and ok.

i'm doing the exact same thing but it is not running

for windows 7 you have to go to
control panel>
programs and features>
turn windows features on or off>
scroll until you find Telnet Client, check the box, and wait for it to turn on. then your telnet will work =)

i was just wondering if it required internet to work....

PLEASE READ!!!
This does not work on Vista and Windows 7 due to the command prompt being changed when Vista was released. However this works on Windows XP fine. Here are more detailed instructions:

1) open command prompt
2) type in "telnet"
3) press the key "enter"
4) then type the letter "O"
5) press the key "enter"
6) type in "towel.blinkenlights.nl
7) press the key "enter"

or you can go
start\control panel\programs and features.
on the left click turn on or off windows programs and features.
then scroll down and turn on telnet client.

To all of windows vista and windows 7 users:

1: go to control panel
2: click programs and features
3: click on "Turn on or off Windows on or off."
4: Then find Telnet and hit ok.
5: install it and type telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
6: enjoy!
