Hey very excellent methods to check the information about our iPhone , but i believe it only shows details for non-jailbreak iPhones. because i tried with one of my jail broken iPhone and it didnt show any details.

No this is not the case, all IMEI's I tested were jailbroken. Also, there is no way anybody can tell this using IMEI.

I agree with the admin. With an IMEI, nobody can ever tell a device is rooted orjailbroken.

There are plenty free services that will provide you such information (Warranty, iPhone model, purchase date, and some other), but they do not provide you information that you need to have in order to unlock your iPhone, or find if it blacklisted or not. From time to time I found some very cheap prices on various iPhone models on eBay, Amazon or Craigslist, but something was not feeling right. I used some of the free iPhone IMEI check services, but they only provided me the usual info. You can either contact Apple (If you know the IMEI number of the iPhone you want to check) and they might be able to help you, or you can use an online IMEI Checker that will give you all the information you want (What network your iPhone is locked to and if it is Blacklisted or not - Lost/Stolen) in a few minutes. Try to find a service that does not have an iPhone unlocking shop, because most of them will try to present your iPhone as locked, so they can sell you an unlocking service. Try to make a good research before purchasing an IMEI Check iPhone service!
Also, that IMEI Check services will not tell you if the iPHone is jailbroken or not, but I do not think that this is very important. If you do not want a jailbroken device, just do a full restore via iTunes, and your iPhone will be back at its original factory settings!
