The wait is finally over as Steve Jobs revealed the next generation iPhone yesterday at WWDC 2010, named "iPhone 4" the new phone from Apple features improved hardware and software combination which looks pretty impressive. Recently Opera for iPhone got approved in the iTunes store and now Firefox is ready to bring the Firefox experience to the platform - sadly, not as an full blown individual web-browser but as an iPhone application dubbed Firefox Home letting users instant access to their Firefox desktop history, open tabs and bookmarks on iPhone via Firefox Sync service.

PwnTunes a new Cydia app from the makers of popular application iRealSMS allows users to use their iPhone and iPod Touch as an removable USB drive with music and image syncing functionality - without requiring any software on connecting computer. There are quite a few free iTunes alternatives but all of them require users to launch the application on connecting computer, PwnTunes on the other hand makes the iDevice detect as an removable USB drive and all you need to do is to drag-n-drop files in respective folders and it will automatically import Music/Images from there without loosing existing library on the device.

Promising iPhone application Wi-Fi Sync which allows users to synchronize their iPhone / iPod Touch with iTunes wirelessly has been rejected from iTunes Store citing security concerns and usage of low-level OS calls, the developer has released the application on alternative store Cydia and is available for immediate download by paying $9.99.
