Apple iOS 8.1 Finally Jailbroken

Apple iOS 8.1 JailbreakJailbreak fans who were holding upgrades to Apple iOS 8 can now take the plunge as Chinese iOS hacker group Team Pangu has finally achieved a iOS 8 – 8.1 jailbreak that works successfully on Apple devices including the latest iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air 2 along with all previous devices. For now the jailbreak utility is Windows only and allows users to get SSH access - using which one can install Cydia (Saurik has already uploaded Cydia for iOS 8 on his website). The user must disable passcode lock and turn off "find my iphone" feature before using Pangu for iOS8.

The list of devices and iOS firmware version supported by the new jailbreak : iOS 8.0, 8.0.1, 8.0.2, 8.1 on Phone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, iPad 2/3/4/Air/Air 2/mini 1/mini 2/mini 3 and iPod touch 5.

Foxconn Announces Next Generation iPhones With 4.7 And 5.5 Inch Displays

Apple is believed to be one of the most secretive company when it comes to releasing information about their upcoming new products, but this time, their partner company Foxconn has officially spilled the beans on the Apple's next iPhone.

Foxconn, the Chinese manufacturing giant is Apple's long time production partner which has now officially announced that it will be manufacturing the next generation of iPhone, probably "iPhone 6" with screen-sizes of 5.5-inch and 4.7-inch this year. The press release informs that, Foxconn will be supplying 70 percent of all 4.7-inch iPhone shipments for 2015, with supplies of the 4.7-inch model scheduled for July onwards indicating an August sales launch. The manufacturing of 5.5-inch version will commence in August but no launch date is mentioned, the press-announcement also states that older 4-inch iPhones will continue to be on shelves, with Apple expecting them to be the major drivers of sales for 2014.

This year's Apple annual developer conference WWDC 2014 is all set to get started in a few hours from now, with a lot of stuff scheduled with secrets Apple is not willing to spill-beans about as of now.
