My last post was about how to download music files from eSnips, Now I will be sharing a nifty little utility which will let you download music files from almost all major social sites like eSnips, iJigg, IMEEM, Last.fm, Mog, Pandora and MySpace to name a few.

FreeMusicZilla is a smart software which lets you snatch and download streaming music files from IE, Firefox, Opera, Maxthon, Avant and Netscape, all you have to do is to launch "FreeMusicZilla" and start listening to your music in your preferred browser, the playing music file link will be sniffed by FreeMusicZilla - now simply select the grabbed file name and click the 'Download' button to start downloading.

While testing the software on eSnips, I found that if the browser window is closed the download aborts, moreover the free version of the software only allows 10 downloads in a day, However, this limit can be bypassed easily

eSnips is an popular web 2.0 content sharing website allowing users to upload and share upto 5 GB of content including music, photos, videos and documents publicly, you can expect all sorts of music files, videos and ebooks on their network, the vast amount of files hosted on this service with an easy to use searchable database and interest based communities makes it the perfect place to download your choice of MP3 files, but eSnips no more allows audio-files to be downloaded and allows them to be played via embedded player only.

There exist quite a few different services to download files from eSnips but none of them currently work as eSnips tweaked their system to stop these kinds of direct download link generators, However, I found a workaround to get these existing tools work again with ease.

Unlike Google Chrome and Internet Explorer 8 Firefox does not provide any in-built private browsing mode, However you can setup Firefox for private browsing using a separate profile as demonstrated below:
