Mozilla Firefox 22 Released With Amazing Native 3D Gaming, Video Calls and File Sharing Functionality

Mozilla Firefox 22 is out now in Release channel and brings some amazing feature's to the open-source web-browser. Using a supercharged subset of JavaScript (asm.js) developers are creating high-intensity applications, like 3D games and photo processing to be consumed directly on the Web without having to install additional software or use any plugins at native performance levels. Mozilla Firefox 22 now supports asm.js via a cross-compiler which can emit asm.js, paving way for consumption of these high-performance native applications on the web-browser. Mozilla also shared a video showing Unreal Engine 3 demonstration using this JavaScript technology performing at-par the native speed.

Mozilla Firefox 20 Released With Sleek Download Manager, Per-window Private Browsing and Ability To Close Hanging Plugins

Mozilla released the final stable version of Firefox 20 for both Desktop and Android platforms. The new Firefox update features a new minimalistic, streamlined, panel-based download manager, along with H.264 decoding on the 'video' tag, and per-window private browsing (per-tab private browsing on Android). Apart, from these new features the update features performance improvements around common browser tasks (like page-load, downloads and shutdown), improved HTML5 support and bug-fixes. Mozilla adapted the Google Chrome styled "rapid release cycle" and sticking to the policy has released the "Firefox 8 Final" for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android within two months of Firefox 7 Final release. The major version update includes new features to make Web browsing easier, providing users and developers more control over how they customize their Web experience.

While the official announcement of Mozilla Firefox 5 Final release is still not made, as happened in the past the Firefox 5 Final release build is already available on official Mozilla FTP servers, open to public access. The official scheduled date for Firefox 5 launch is after two days on 21st June, but the download is now online so nobody is stopping us to enjoy it before release date.

The current stable Firefox version is 4 and version 5 Beta channel is there for testing new features which are a bit stable and needs user feedback, Mozilla has now initiated a brand new "Aurora" branch which should be considered the "ALPHA" stage featuring the newest innovations before they go to beta channel and will finally get released as "Firefox 6".
