Apple iOS 5.1 Beta 2 finally addresses the iPhone 4S battery drain issue (Batterygate), the latest iOS Beta is currently available only for Apple developers and supports iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, the iPads and the latest iPod Touches. Direct download links to these dev-files are posted after the jump.

Changelog for iOS 5.1 Beta 2 :

• Fixed the iPhone 4S battery draining issue.
• Ability to use any Apple ID to sign up for an iCloud account.
• Option to manually remove images from the Photo Stream in iCloud, any deleted photos also gets removed from other iCloud connected devices.
• Shake-to-shuffle caused the Music app to freeze, this will be fixed.
• Fix for the “infinite setup loop” at the Setup Assistant screen caused an for some users./li>
• SpringBoard, the home screen app for the iPhone would sometimes fall into a state when double-clicking the home button would not display the camera icon. This too will be fixed.
• More security and smaller bug fixes...
