Microsoft has released a new video demonstrating highlights of the latest Windows 10 build, the new release also debuts first public appearance of Microsoft Edge the default web-browser replacing "Internet Explorer" across all Windows 10 versions (mobile and desktop). Microsoft has announced the Internet Explorer killer, company's Windows 10 will ship with a brand new browser, codenamed “Project Spartan.” Designed for Windows 10, Spartan is a single browser developed for the entire Windows 10 device family - from keyboard and mouse on the Windows 10 desktop to touch, gestures, voice, controllers and sensors on other devices. The new web-browser from Microsoft is designed to offer a more interoperable, reliable, and discoverable experience with advanced features including the ability to annotate on web pages, a distraction-free reading experience, and integration of Cortana for finding and doing things online faster.

Powered by a new rendering engine, Spartan is designed for the modern web with greater emphasis on performance, security and support for modern web-technologies across Windows 10 devices. The new rendering engine will be the default engine for Windows 10, Spartan will also allow loading of IE11 engine for legacy enterprise web sites and applications using older technologies designed only for Internet Explorer, such as custom ActiveX controls and Browser Helper Objects.

Microsoft has released the Internet Explorer 11 Release Preview For Windows 7 with some exciting improvements and features aimed to offer a fast, fluid and perfect for touch Web experience across all Windows devices and screen sizes. The snappier IE11 features - performance improvements making it 30% faster than competing web-browsers like Google Chrome/Mozilla Firefox/Opera, updates to support the latest Web standards, new and improved developer tools for coders. Microsoft has released the Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview upgrade for Windows 7 users, with this announcement of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 users Microsoft has made clear that it wont leave "Windows 7" users with outdated technology despite all there efforts now being targeted towards promoting Windows 8.

Microsoft rolled out an update to their Internet Explorer web-browser, the security update "KB2699988" fixes a total of thirteen security vulnerabilities. All versions of IE were patched including the latest IE9.

Microsoft has finally unveiled another major milestone to final release of Internet Explorer 9 by making IE9 Release Candidate download available for everybody. The "Release Candidate" build features a new ActiveX filtering system which allows users to “turn off ActiveX” for all sites and then re-enable it on site by site basis, on the UI part users can now have tabs on a separate line from address bar, apart from these changes many improvements were done in overall web-browser performance, standards & platform support, user experience and security as detailed next.

The IE9 Beta installer is now officially available for public download and can be grabbed from the direct download links provided below, the web-installer stub is just 2.37 MB in size which downloads the remaining setup files (roughly 24 mb on Windows 7 32bit) and surprisingly requires a system reboot to install (the only web-browser to do that).

First public beta of Windows Internet Explorer 9 is going to be released in 7 days from now on September, 15, but it seems the IE9 Beta Installer is now leaked outside Microsoft as a website claimed to have the setup also posting the video below demoing the release.
