GeoHot the most talented iOS Hacker out there has once again surprised the world by releasing his brand new iOS 4.0-4.1 Jailbreaking Tool - "Limera1n", exploiting a previously unreleased bootrom-level hole GeoHot's Limera1n is capable of jailbreaking iPhone3GS, iPhone4, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, the iPad, and technically even AppleTV.

After news of successful iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak we have another update on the front, this time from the numero uno iPhone hacker GeoHot who has successfully ported his BlackRa1n jailbreak to Apple iPad - in two pictures tweeted few hours ago GeoHot displayed an iPad running in verbose mode and another one having BlackRa1n and Cydia installed on iPad, both of which are possible only once the device is jail-broken.

Apple iTunes 9.1 download is now live offering iPad syncing with ability to download iBooks, the latest update also allows users to rename, rearrange, or remove Genius Mixes.

However, if you are using a tethered Blackra1n jailbroken iPhone 3.1.2 you will experience syncing issues with iTunes 9.1 but no worries as we now have a fix from iH8sn0w dubbed blackbreeze.

Sn0wBreeze 3.1.3 update is now available for download allowing users to create custom 3.1.3 IPSW restore files while retaining the older baseband so they can still enjoy existing blacksn0w or ultrasn0w iPhone unlocks.

To get iPhone OS 3.1.3 with jailbreak and carrier-unlock all you need to do it to create a custom IPSW file using Sn0wBreeze 3.1.3 (download link after the jump) and restore you iPhone with this newly created IPSW file having older baseband.

Much needed utility for creating custom IPSW files on Windows Sn0wbreeze 3.1.2 Final is now available for download, Sn0wbreeze 3.1.2 Public Beta download shared earlier had Expert Mode disabled but the final version has it enabled which lets users create custom IPSW files with options including changing of boot and recovery logos, enabling verbose boot mode, download and add applications packages, include blacksn0w or Bootneuter unlock, add Cydia and Rock installers, pre-hactivate the phone, make IPSW NOR only and change root partition size.

Sn0wbreeze lets Windows users create customized iPhone/iPod IPSW restore files having their personal selection of applications and customizations to be pre-compiled into the restore file so they can restore as many devices as they like to a fixed configuration without working individually on every device.

iH8sn0w team's iPhone jailbreak, unlock and boot-logo changer utility for Windows Sn0wBreeze is expected to be available for public download anytime soon, the team released another teaser video demonstrating the Sn0wBreeze utility.

Sn0wBreeze is basically the latest version of PwnageTool ported for Windows platform allowing Windows users to create custom .IPSW files for their devices.

GeoHot has once again proved that he is the numero-uno iPhone hacker out there with his recent success in unlocking iPhone Baseband 05.11.07, moments ago GeoHot posted the video proof of world's first 05.11.07 Baseband unlocked iPhone - the unlock dubbed blacksn0w will be capable of unlocking both iPhone 3G and 3GS allowing users to unlock their phones for use with any carrier.

iPhone jailbreak scene is getting very exciting with new emerging software tools promising easier and safe jailbreaking experience, after announcement of Sn0wBreeze from iH8sn0w famous iPhone hacker GeoHot has now announced a single jailbreaking utility for all Apple iPhone range of devices from iPod Touch to iPhone 3G/3GS; dubbed blackra1n the jailbreaking utility is expected to get launched soon and official domain blackra1n.com is already online showing the teaser image below.

With the release of iPhone Dev Team's PwnageTool 3.1 Mac users were able to create custom IPSW files allowing them to jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1, sadly for Windows users there is no choice but to download and use pre-made custom jailbroken IPSW files - but not anymore as another popular iPhone hacker iH8sn0w is soon releasing there own Windows PwnageTool dubbed Sn0wBreeze.
