ChargeAll - World's Smallest Portable Power Outlet

We have shared quite a few portable power-banks on this blog earlier and their seems a flurry of such crowd-funded projects with a new one popping-out with something new every few weeks. Countinuing the trend another worth grabbing crowd-funded product would be - ChargeAll, a first-of-its-kind portable battery pack with an AC wall plug outlet for powering your ell phones, tablets, digital cameras, fans, curling irons, desk-lights or any other device having power requirement under 85 watts.

When you are talking about powering almost "anything, anywhere, anytime!" the very first requirement would be to be as portable as possible with enough juice to keep your devices lit-up for a few hours, ChargeAll seems to fulfill this by being so small and compact that you can literally put it in your pocket, your purse or your backpack. This portable power outlet comes in two sizes, the small size with 12000 mAh and the large one with 18000 mAh, the large also features two additional USB ports and a battery capacity indicator.

Ford And Intel Testing Facial Recognition For Authentication In Cars

All sorts of cool technology is coming to the cars of future and Ford is now testing another clever integration of technology which might end-up in your next car. Dubbed "Ford Mobil" the company in-collaboration with Intel, is testing a facial-recognition system which will perform "in-car" camera based security authentication and personalization based on driver's preference. The system uses front-facing cameras to capture drivers images and perform the facial-recognition, if the driver can't be authenticated it'll send a photo to the vehicle owner's phone asking for permission for this person to drive the vehicle. This could also be used to allow parents to control how loud their kids listen to the music while driving, how fast they can drive, and even simply monitor them driving. The "Ford Mobile" will also utilize gesture and voice recognition technology to make things even easier to control for users while driving.
