Adobe Spying On Users To Sample CS3 User Behavior !

Adobe CS3 users are reporting company's software products silently sending data to a third-party service.

Dan Moren of UneasySilence first posted about the issue on his blog, by using a Mac OS software - Little Snitch, he was able to track Adobe's data snooping.

Adobe Spying

Adobe software's are being reported to send data to the server at which seem to be a internal network IP, but if you play close attention it is not (notice the .net after the IP), if you try to access the server at a 404 not found page is displayed and the company owning it is Omniture - a web analytic company.

not the least bit suprised

The sending of data to a third party lets Adobe technically claim that Adobe doesn't spy on their users since the spying is done by someone other than Adobe.
