VLC Media Player has been trusted by millions on PC, Linux and Mac platforms as being one of the most easy to use, no-frills multimedia player. Well-known for it's ability to play almost any multimedia format, the player made it's debut to Apple iOS platform recently but has now been pulled down from iTunes Store as it's Terms and Conditions don’t allow users to install any hosted app on more than five devices which is against the GNU license VLC’s code is supplied under.
