Windows 8 To Feature OEM Activation v 3.0, Will Break BIOS SLIC Activation Hack

Crackers stroked a major blow to Microsoft anti-piracy efforts by releasing a BIOS SLIC based Windows 7 Activation Crack days before the official release of the software, while there are many other cracks and hacks like RemoveWAT used to pirate Windows 7 the BIOS SLIC hack allowed pirates to hide from Windows anti-piracy measures identifying itself as an OEM install.

According to a tweet by sp3ciali5t this is going to change with "Windows 8" as it will feature the next version of OEM Activation (OA 3.0).

Searching for OA 3.0 takes us to the following job post which reads :

potrebujem aktivator za windows 8 profesonal

Last time I looked Microsft was MORE than happy to take full advantage of their monolopy and rip custermers off at every turn.

If Ms priced their os at below $100 instead of the insane $200 + dollars for a full version of windows (not OEM) perhaps more people would gain back a little respect for MS and purchase their copy.
