The new Google Search Bar made it's appearance a few days ago but has not been rolled out to everyone yet, similar to the Youtube new look hack shared earlier, users can get the new design right now.

While Windows Phone 7 is not as popular as iOS or Google Android, the mobile-operating-system is gaining numbers every day and have been receiving rare praises from it's users thanks to the tile based "Metro User Interface". Citing the popularity Microsoft is betting high on the new "Metro UI" and will also feature same in it's upcoming Windows 8 Desktop OS, to provide other mobile-OS users a hands-on experience to the metro mobile interface the Microsoft team has created an demonstration enabling users to try our things from their Android or iOS devices.

Nokia's flagship Windows Mobile OS based cellphone Lumia 800 got launched on 28th November at Millbank Tower, London. Thanks to the world's most advanced 4D technology and "deadmau5" DJ'ing the launch event featured an amazing free light-n-music show projected onto the Millbank Tower as shown in the video after the jump.

Millbank was plunged into darkness with the iconic tower acting as the canvas for a never-before-seen spectacular. Each of the 120 metre high building's 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 3D images onto the structure. Huge butterflies flew across the London skyline and the tower was twisted, pulsated and even fell down. Billed as the "future of live events" the spectacular show was accompanied by music from super producer deadmau5, who created exclusive remixes for the performance -- adding the 4th dimension.

Microsoft has been planning to ship an free built-in anti-malware solution with Windows 8, and it seems we already have the product up for selected few users under beta-testing phase.

After launching the current black top-bar six months ago, Google is all set to release the next stage of their redesign with all new "Google bar", the new redesigned top-bar will enable users to navigate quickly between Google services and share things using Google+. Google Maps for android has received an major update pushing the latest version to 6.0, the major version upgrade introduces an all new "indoor mapping" and positioning feature which works inside stores, malls, and airports getting users their way around with ease.

Using this new feature users will now be able to see where everything is located inside a building, and even switch between floors. The indoor mapping feature is not available for all locations yet and initially covers only large retailers, airports and transit stations in the U.S. and Japan.

For some unknown and strange reasons my "Windows 7" installation stopped recognizing my DVD drive and "Windows Device Manager" showed an exclamation icon next to the DVD/CD-ROM drive, on further opening the device properties page the error shown is :

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"
